Space Geodesy at IGS Workshop 2024

From 1-5 July 2024, the IGS workshop 2024 -as well as the 30th anniversary of IGS- took place in Bern, Switzerland. The Space Geodesy group was well represented with one oral presentation and four poster contributions as main authors.

We enjoyed the beautiful view in Bern and the interesting presentations on diverse topics. The workshop provided insights into the latest developments within the IGS and the future plans of each working group.

The highlight of the event was the 30th-year anniversary celebration held on the evening of July 3rd. Former chairs of the IGS Governing Board were invited to give speeches and were awarded gifts in recognition of their contributions to the community. It was also a great opportunity for the younger generation to learn about the history of IGS.

In the box below you can find our contributions.
