ETH at the EVGA and Genesis Science Workshop in Matera
Earlier this month, Benedikt Soja and Matthias Schartner traveled to beautiful Matera, Italy, to participate in the ESA Genesis Science Workshop, followed by the 27th Working Meeting of the European VLBI Group for Geodesy and Astrometry (EVGA).
Both Benedikt and Matthias are part of the GENESIS Science Exploitation Team (GSET), Benedikt for WG-1 (ITRF and combinations) and Matthias for WG-3 (VLBI).
Some highlights from the trip:
- Matthias presented an update on VLBI scheduling and simulations at the Genesis Science Workshop.
- Talk on AI-enhanced modeling of tropospheric simulations at EVGA external page https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15234020
- Followed by a poster presentation on the Genesis mission work external page https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15234142
