AGU24 Annual Meeting

Benedikt Soja, Matthias Aichinger-Rosenberger, and Julia Azumi Koch participated in this year’s AGU24 in Washington, D.C from December 9-13.

With over 25,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, the conference provided a platform to share research and reconnect with colleagues and friends, both old and new.

In the field of geodesy, AGU places a greater emphasis on the application of geodetic data and products for geophysical research, compared to the focus on pure geodetic science seen at EGU in Europe. This gave us valuable insights into the user needs of our geodetic products and inspired new ideas for research opportunities.

All three researchers delivered invited talks in various sessions.
