GGHS24

The Joint IAG Commission 2, IGFS and GGOS Symposium on Gravity, Geoid and Height System 2024 took place in Thessaloniki, Greece from 4 to 6 September.

GGHS24

Julia Koch from the Space Geodesy group attended GGHS24 in Thessaloniki. She presented her work on the analysis of the effect of the differences between available DEMs on high-precision geoid modelling in the region of CERN.
The symposium, expertly organized by George Vergos and his team from GravLab AUTh, attracted around 130 participants and provided an excellent opportunity to discuss ideas and challenges in the broad field of gravity data acquisition, geoid modeling, and vertical reference systems.
