From the Space Geodesy group, Laura Crocetti and Benedikt Soja attended the AGU annual meeting in San Francisco.
Laura had two poster presentations on her current work. On Monday she presented a "Global Machine Learning-based Zenith Wet Delay Forecasting Model" and on Tuesday she showed her work about "Unraveling Causes for GNSS Station Movements: A Machine Learning Approach".
Benedikt had two invited contributions, a poster on "AI-based EOP Prediction by ETH Zurich: the Second EOP Prediction Comparison Campaign and Beyond" and a presentation about "Advancing Geodesy with Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities, Challenges, and Perspectives within GGOS".
At AGU they met their former colleague Roland Hohensinn, who gave a presentation about "Terrestrial water storage and ground water storage variations: a quantitative analysis of the latest GravIS GRACE/GRACE-FO level 3 data products".
