Laura at ESA ϕ-lab

Laura Crocetti is a research visitor at the ESA ϕ-lab from October to the end of March.

Thanks to an ETH Zurich Doc.Mobility Fellowship, Laura is able to spend six months at the ESA ϕ-lab (Italy). There she will do the last part of her Ph.D. which aims on modelling Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) station movements based on Earth observation (EO) data using machine learning (ML). While she has experience in GNSS and ML, the ESA ϕ-lab will provide supervision w.r.t. EO data and especially its combination with ML. ESA ϕ-lab is world leading in the field of EO and best known for its work on exploiting EO data with ML.

"I am very grateful and happy that I got the opportunity to visit the ESA ϕ-lab. Since the start of my doctoral studies I have had the vision to carry out a part of my doctoral research at a research institution abroad. Now, it is actually happening, which is great! I am convinced that the stay at ESA Φ-lab will enhance my professional and personal development and be of great importance for my future career. Many thanks to the ETH Zurich Doc.Mobility programme and ESA ϕ-lab!"
