Retreat 2023: Space Geodesy group explores Scharnachtal
From September 4th to 6th, the Space Geodesy group had its retreat in Scharnachtal. Our stay took place at the charming Pension Bergengel, where we spent nice days together.
Our journey started on Monday morning with picking up two small buses to drive to Scharnachtal. After arrival, our dense schedule began with a presentation by Benedikt Soja about the current status and future plans about the Space Geodesy group. Throughout the retreat we had very interesting sessions on research, teaching, career planning and much more. Everyone contributed and made the retreat a success!
Of course, a hike could not be missed - so we spend an afternoon at Niesen and enjoyed the scenic view.
The retreat was over far too quickly and we returned to ETH on Wednesday evening.
It was an interesting an exciting retreat! Thanks to everybody!
