Welcome Mudathir Awadaljeed!
We are happy to announce that Mudathir Awadaljeed joined the Space Geodesy group as a scientific assistant in October 2021.
He graduated from ETH Zurich with a master’s degree in Geomatics in August 2021. His research focuses on the estimation of ionospheric parameters from space geodetic techniques. He recently finished developing a software for deriving VTECs from observations with VGOS, and he is currently applying machine learning algorithms to the prediction of VTECs to improve the positioning accuracy of single-frequency GNSS-capable devices, e.g., smartphones.
We are looking forward to continuing working together and wish him all the best at his new position.
