"Dissertationspreis der Stadt Wien" awarded to Matthias Schartner

For his outstanding work on Very Long Baseline Interferometry scheduling, the "Dissertationspreis der Stadt Wien" (dissertation award from the city of Vienna) was awarded to Matthias Schartner for his Ph.D. thesis "Optimizing geodetic VLBI scheduling with VieSched++" (https://repositum.tuwien.at/handle/20.500.12708/1466).

The award ceremony took place on 5th of November at the gorgeous Kuppelsaal at TU Wien. The prize was handed over by Mag. Daniel Löcker, head of the section for science at the culture department MA7.
